Our mission is simple – create a search engine that medical community can control. We call it `Google` for doctors.
Why is this needed?
Web gets more and more cluttered with sites. These vary from anything of very good quality to something that spammers use to bombard us with junk emails. It`s extremely hard to get noticed on the web if you operate as a single entity. That`s why we came up with WebSegmentation©. This is when a directory is found and a search is made within that directory. This new directory will encompass all possible results ONLY relevant to your search which, in this case, is related to medicine and medical specialists.
What we offer:
We offer doctors, physicians, medical offices, clinics, and wellness centers to get a better control of the web and use it to their advantage. This might sound like a very difficult task but that is the reason why we need all of you to join.
For doctors:
Become a part of a great fast-growing online community that will help you reach and connect with more people and start making technology work for you.
At MedLounge™ every doctor can and probably should have a free basic website that will be automatically optimized for searching. This means that it will be easier for people to find you on the web. This little site can be created by you or by your staff. All they need to know is how to use a word processor. We have tutorials on how to use our software to setup a website. Also, phone support is available.
Your position within our site will be determined by your participation in community’s life. Your participation can be anything from writing and publishing educational articles, implementing new features for your site or winning a `doctor of the week` (doctor of the month) title. Share your problems with our community and try to help each other with advice.
We teamed up with PCGeezer™ who provides computer education in a try-as-you-learn format. We will offer it to our members as a way to learn more about computers and technology.
For patients:
A more refined search will be offered for the people looking for information on doctors, physicians, clinics, and wellness centers.
There also will be an easier way to connect not only by phone but via online forms, emails, forums and chatrooms. This is easier because you can connect without leaving your computer and picking up the phone. The chatrooms are all real-time communications and thoughts can be shared with many people at the same time.
Regular visitors can also participate in the community by asking questions at forums and recommending new doctors.
